Three age categories (Birthday must be before May 15, 2008) (12 to 14, 15 to 17, 18 to 22) Each essay must include name, age, address and phone number. Award

1. Each age category winner will be awarded a $400.00 scholarship and a plaque (total 3)
   
2. Second place winner in each category will receive $200.00 and a certificate (total 3)
   
3. Third place winner in each category will receive $100.00 and a certificate (total 3)

(A) Age 12-14 -- What is your favorite holiday of the year and why?
(B) Age 15-17 -- How important is trustworthiness in a friend?
(C) Age18-22 -- The Ramallah Federation is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary this year. What does this accomplishment mean to you and our Ramallah community?

(All essays should discuss the impact on your values and beliefs based on your cultural upbringing. Also, include how you interact with your American friends and relationships with your family). nships with your family).

Judges (panel of 5)

Each judge will score every essay, with winners selected by their weighted average normalized score. The judges will be selected by the Chairman of the Essay Committee in consultation with the President and Executive Committee.
