Executive
Director Position

The AFRP's Search Committee is pleased to
announce that we have begun accepting applications for our new Executive
Director. The successful applicant will have the breadth of experience and a
college education enabling them to execute the following key responsibilities as
identified by the Committee:
1)
Membership: Expand the Federation membership as well as secure the annual
renewal of current members.
2)
Administration: require to work with the web site personal, the magazine, the
AFRP President and the Executive committee. To be responsible for support all
the activities of the meetings of the Executive Board, Board of Directors,
meeting schedules, locations, development of agenda' and meeting materials.
3)
Communication: The candidate must be a good communicator as he/she will need to
represent the Federation at public meetings internal to the Ramallah community
as well as among other organizations. Establishes and maintains an effective
system of communications throughout the Federation and the rest of the Ramallah
clubs. He/she should represent the Federation in business relationships with the
Government agencies, media, community organizations, professional organizations
and similar group.
4)
Fund Raising: To establish a system of Grant writing and management to target
Foundations and Philanthropist to be part of the office procedures. Donors need
to get letters of thanks and tax deductibility and information about charitable
programs the Federation supports. Continuous effort is required to solicit
donations and collect pledges when they are due.
This is a summary of the most important
functions that our Executive Director will perform. A successful candidate must
embrace the vision and values of the Ramallah Federation in his/her work. They
must be self-motivated, have a friendly disposition and be committed to
excellence in his/her work. Familiarity with the Federation and Ramallah
community, Arab culture and language are plusses.
